Maxim of the Week

Edith chose a large ball of variegated yarn to knit a baby blanket for her first great-great-grandchild.
Maxim:
Don't start what you can't finish.

This  is my tongue-in-cheek Mothers' Day card for any Mothers, Grands, Great-Grands, or Great-Great-Grands who might stop by here.  Coincidentally, both of my own great-grandmothers were named Edith and one of them did, indeed, become a great-great-grandmother when my daughter was born.  My mother's middle name is Edythe and it is distinctly possible that some day she may become a great-grandmother herself.  One just never knows.

  3. Suki,
Quite a treat, having those great-greats, isn't it. Gives one a real sense of one's own genetic background and wonderful family photos to look back on.

    LOL--Really, I wasn't luring you...just enjoying your photos.

I like what you say about the project keeping the old lady going. Good to have goals.
