Saj, I have a sneaking suspicion that if you were to see the geezer's wife you'd understand how it was that he was let out in public looking like that.
I think when one gets to the puking stage one has had enough of champers, good friends, and/or wine.
PS. After repeating "Denim in a bun dance" several times to myself throughout the day, I finally got the pun just now! "abundance"! haha. I thought you were saying "barn dance" in that British accent of yours!
