Your Maxim of the Week

Arnie wondered if maybe, just this once,
he might leave Fifi's doo-doo
where it lay.
Maxim:
Take it or leave it.

  2. Oh this is a good one! Funny thing, I was just thinking that i have never done this .. picked up doggie doodoo.. except maybe waiting a few days if it is on our lawn and kicking it under a rose bush. we have lots, with 4 dogs.. good healthy roses bushes too.
But I was wondering how people can get used to this . I mean picking up warm, soft **** with a plastic bag... and then having to carry it around for a while.. what kind of enjoyable walk is that? where do people put it... in there pocket.. or do they swing it as the stride along. it grosses me out. once in a while I contemplate if i could ever live in a city and immediately think of this... I am not a spleeny person either, believe me, but that is going too far for me. I may be a country dweller for ever.
I wouldn't even have a cat litter box in my house.

    1. Haha! You bring up a lot of interesting questions about being a city-dwelling dog owner. But in most cities, there are garbage receptacles placed at fairly frequent intervals along the streets, so the bags of doo-doo can be deposited there. Otherwise...hmmmm...what do they do with those bags of fresh hot s--t?! City folk also like to take their dogs to parks where there are often plastic bag dispensers and garbage bins for caca collection. But, yah...picking it up, even with a plastic bag--YUK!!! I can just barely manage dealing with a cat litter box...but would prefer not to. I wonder if we should invent some sort of cool caca carrying container for city people's pet poo? They would have to be disposable and bio-degradable because one wouldn't want to have to bring it home and wash it out for reuse.

  3. oh the dilemma! confession: i've walked our dogs at night so if there was a a doo-doo there would be no to-do from the neighbors... covert poops i guess you could say. really love this maxim- beautifully done as usual!
