Maxim of the Week

Since becoming the spokesperson for the Weight Loss Clinique, Winona has been delighted to watch the size of her waist go down while that of her bank account goes up.
Maxim:
Eat to live, do not live to eat.

    1. Owen,
Yes, but I happen to know you also like to keep your boyish figure...so keep on with the chicken soup and forego the foie gras on the French bread, les petits-fours, les grosses huitres...

  7. Especially perfect after the holidays. I don't know why, but I kind of go a little berserk every year. I just give in and get back to normal quickly. I like the lines in Winona's hair, her facial expression and gesture. She actually reminds me of someone I knew in high school.

    1. Stickup,
Perfect after the hols, yes; it's definitely what prompted me to post that one at this time! I guess it's a tradition to over-indulge over Christmas. Permission to run amok once a year in the food dept. I'm finding it really took a toll on my system this year, though.

I wonder what that girl from your high school days is doing now...

  9. Too funny! I am not fascinated with these different spokeswomen! I suppose it works if it is encouraging but I can't help believe they have extra help (maybe a live-in chef?)and the money too!

    1. Blue Sky,
I tend to agree with you. Just how big a team (and how much money) props these spokespeople up?!
