So true ;)
:)tli,You sound like someone who understands this maxim only too well.
Waist not, want not.
MB,Ha! You've out-maximed the maxim!
i was on a diet for two weeks and all i lost is 14 days...;)i´m happy you are going on with your maxims in 2013!
Johanna,Ha ha,too funny! Yes, I have plenty more maxims tucked into my waistband.
Danielle,A good bad habit is hard to break.;-)
Love your always unique takes on everyday things, Lynne. Your Maxim of the Week always makes me smile.
Bonnie,:-)Your smile makes me smile. It must be contagious!
But I love to eat ! That's what we do here in France. :-)
Owen,Yes, but I happen to know you also like to keep your boyish figure...so keep on with the chicken soup and forego the foie gras on the French bread, les petits-fours, les grosses huitres...
Especially perfect after the holidays. I don't know why, but I kind of go a little berserk every year. I just give in and get back to normal quickly. I like the lines in Winona's hair, her facial expression and gesture. She actually reminds me of someone I knew in high school.
Stickup,Perfect after the hols, yes; it's definitely what prompted me to post that one at this time! I guess it's a tradition to over-indulge over Christmas. Permission to run amok once a year in the food dept. I'm finding it really took a toll on my system this year, though. I wonder what that girl from your high school days is doing now...
Well, "it's an ill wind that blows no one any good"!ruby
Ruby,Oh, you maximed the maxim! I must make note of that one for future use.
Too funny! I am not fascinated with these different spokeswomen! I suppose it works if it is encouraging but I can't help believe they have extra help (maybe a live-in chef?)and the money too!
Blue Sky,I tend to agree with you. Just how big a team (and how much money) props these spokespeople up?!
