Maxim of the Week

Edna knew she'd lost most of her sex appeal over the years but she couldn't help but feel a little coquettish around her manly lodger.
Maxim:
While there's life, there's hope.

  6. johana,
I think those particular muscles of Edna's don't work any more. A case of "use it or lose it"...Hey, that sounds like another maxim for another day!

  9. Nice to see that Edna still "colours" her hair -- never say "dye".

  10. Shirl,
Excellent punning! Never say dye, or die, as the case may be.

  11. I couldn't help but get an extra laugh out of this one because I have a "male lodger!" I think that's where the resemblance ends...

    1. Julie,
Hey, if you've got it flaunt it! Fifty? Been there, done that. It's all a downhill slide from here on in, physically speaking, so make the most of what you've got while you still have it...unlike our friend Edna here.

      ciao ciao, hugs
      Lynne
