With his tie slightly askew, but wearing his favourite cardigan and best shoes, Jerold picks up his cat and goes to introduce himself to the attractive new upstairs neighbour.
hey where is this gerald who is seeking a gorgeous woman. i'm over here gerald. i dont mind that your tie is askew. maxim: a bird in the bush is worth two in the hand. LOL.gu
sukipoet, LOL!!! Once Gerold is done licking his wounds and his cat is done licking its own nether regions, I'll point them in your direction. Your comment is hilarious! :-D
DCW, You are so amewsing. Let's hope Gerold's positive attitude will catapult him into the arms of success rather than the litter bin of failure for having scratched up the wrong tree.
Julie, What a great surprise to have a visit from you! I've been blown away by the amazing pictures on your blog and am so pleased to make your acquaintance here. I am honoured that you like my art, and tickled that you appreciate my maxims.
It must be tough to be a guy and always have to, or almost always have to make the first move. Constantly setting oneself up for possible rejection. I don't think I could take it. Go get her Gerold!!! GRRRRRRRR...
Stickup, It's so funny how all the commenters here have rallied to Jerold's side. I tried to make him look like an unattractive schmo but I guess his innate charm came shining through. Faint heart never won fair hand, and all that. The man as the hunter. The heart is a lonely hunter. Seek and ye shall find. Hmmm...what you say about the guy having to make the first move. Well, really, isn't it we women who send out the signals to encourage that first move? We have to sit and worry that he's not too thick to pick it up, or too disinterested to act on it. It's a complicated dance full of mis-steps and trip ups and crossed signals. It's amazing anyone ever hooks up!

ReplyDeleteÖtli,
ReplyDeleteWhat Jerold lacks in looks, he makes up for with self-confidence (or is that self-delusion?)
:-)
Really delicious and nice tie included this picture, very beautiful. I await your call.
ReplyDeleteLeovi,
