Whenever Herbie can't find a gig in a band, he plays his horn on street corners or at subway stops.

  2. I like his resourcefulness. He won't be daunted!

Thank you so much for your comments on my blog re: my poetry. It is so interesting to hear what people think. Most of the poems I blog are quickly done and need revision I suspect, but I am writing them for fun and not wanting to get to heavily into revising. one reason i stopped writing prose was i got to obsessed with perfection and revising. be well, Suki

You are a talented artist - with a great mind to think up all your maxims!

  6. sukipoet,
His art will out, as will ours, no matter who hears/sees it, what form it takes, or where it happens.

  7. Bonnie,
Thanks so much. The picture comes first, then a story to go with it, then a lot of searching for a fitting maxim from a handy book of maxims I have on hand.

  8. Susan,
The best place to live is often in one's own little world. But really, can one do otherwise ?
