Poor Alec does have a dilemma! If he trips or takes off his shoes, his righteous anger will look foolish; if he decides to switch to modern-day sandals, he won't look the upper-class gentleman and will appear foolish again! Very clever, Lynne! "There's the rub" could be slipping in wooden shoes. Love the samurai, "handlebars," and ponytail version of Romeo and Juliet!
