Joyce, Thanks! I'm just getting to know my new printer, so it's quite possible I'll be doing a card of this composition at some point. I have to try different papers to see what will work best. Hadn't thought of a glossy finish as I tend to use water colour paper but I think your suggestion is well worth investigating.
Lingering on the details I found myself being transported back in time - a lovely physical sensation brought about by the short dark lines and wonderful transitions from one vibrant colour to another.
Oh, my. The first one was pretty, but this one knocks me out! This would be so lovely as a glossy art card.
