And now for something completely different--Feltmaking! Starting with some Albertan "roping" (hee haw!), I laid out small tufts of it in two layers. I felt (pardon the pun) like I was making a cloud. But to turn that fluffy stuff into a piece of fairly solid felt took a whole lot of muscle. I don't get that much of a workout with my hand-held weights. I recently read of a woman who actually hand-felted a yurt! My own plans are much more modest...
I think yurtmaking could definitely be in your future.
