I haven't been blogging as much lately or leaving comments as there is just not enough hours in a day! But it's always fun to come here and see what you have been doing. Just saw your last few posts. Your Medieval series is absolutely fascinating. Each one is quite unique and wonderfully detailed. Love them all! How many do you plan to make?
I'm so pleased that you found the time to pop over here and catch up with what I've been posting. I totally understand about not enough hours in a day to do everything that one wants, let alone what one has to do.
The Medieval Collage series is finished and there are 15 in all, so I still have 8 more to post. I thought I'd feed one per week into this blog so each could be appreciated on its own. I had hoped to be able to make more from the calendars I was ripping up but I ran out of images that fit together in a pleasing manner. They came together very quickly, over a period of about 3 days. I'm so glad you like them.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment.
Where are you riding, Lady Fair? I see the feathers in your hair. I see the armour on your horse But not for a battle, just elegant course.
Not destination, just seen en route, Not for his banner, not for his suit. Just several hours of joyful pride. You don't need approval, just your pride.
Ah yes, you have captured the lady's strong sense of self, inner surety and pride, as well as her unique fashion sense. Definitely not a woman giving to horsing around.
The palette in this composition is fairly simple and I think that adds to its strength, yet I doubt that those blue elements were on the same page in the calendar, or perhaps not even in the same year! It was great how the pieces all came to hand. I'm glad you're enjoying the unveiling.
