it´s the first stage of recycling, only, believe me... meanwhile i buy my clothes considering if i would like the patterns (some years later) to create mixed media with them... this dress definitely should not end wasted.
I wanted to stop by and and say hi. I've been remiss with my blog hopping - gathering up all my fine junk for a garage sale! I'm glad I didn't miss seeing your newest drawing - so much fun!
Diva, Oh you brave soul, tackling a garage sale. I did one once in my life and vowed never again...though am tempted from time to time. There is a point when one just has to whittle down the amount of one's "treasures" (if only to make room for new ones!). Glad you found a 'mo to stop by here for a bit of fun.

Ruby,
DeleteMiko signed up for "making art every day for a year" but got quite behind so is trying to make up for lost time before the year's end.
Ah so, finally a use for all that junk mail.
ReplyDeleteShirl,
DeleteIf only one could cut it all into strips and knit with it!
Very funny ;)
ReplyDeleteDanielle,
DeleteI try to "always leave 'em laughing" (and yet again, a maxim for another day rears its grinning face.)
Look at my smile :)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteLove those pearly whites!

ReplyDeleteOwen,
DeleteAh, an oldie but a goodie, a blast from my past. That lead singer was pretty cute. Loved how they all looked embarrassed by the lip-syncing.

ReplyDeleteJohanna,
DeleteToo funny, and I totally understand. I used to do rug hooking and nothing in the closet was safe!

ReplyDeleteRoxana,
DeleteI'm sure you would look divine in such a dress, with jewel-toned butterflies swirling all around you...perhaps in a field of gold?
