Crispy

The woods behind our house,
 iced with snow,
warmed with digital magic.
Cooked up while I should have been baking tonight.

  2. A beautiful image! I think it would transfer well to paint on canvas......large size!

    1. Ruby,
I hadn't thought of that, but it would certainly look fabulous as a big painted canvas. My mind boggles at the thought of taking on such a project, though!

I like 'mixing things up' in Photoshop much better than in the kitchen ;)

    1. Danielle,
Ha! Yes, definitely more than one way to "mix things up"!

  4. Enchantment just outside your window. It's so thick and wild! I love it. And I've always loved the aromas of cooking or baking on a cold, dreary winter day. It makes me feel so comforted and grateful. And I've been grateful for another lovely year of lively blogging exchanges with you. Your blogs' personalities, humor and beautiful, from the heart artistry, have been a weekly joy; your presence on my blog so cherished. Warmest thoughts and wishes to you and your family for a Wonderful Holiday Season. A Very Merry Christmas in your Christmas-land!!

    1. Stickup,
Oh I just don't know what to say that will come out sounding right and sincere and grateful and wise. You have a lovely way with words, as precise and enchanting as your photographs. I've missed your presence in the blogging world lately but have cherished your appearances in my comment boxes with your perceptive observations. It feels good to be "got".
Can you smell the aroma of the California Fruit Cake that is presently cooking in the oven here? It's my own Christmas tradition to bake that; brings a little bit of west coast to the east.
Whatever you're getting up to this holiday season, I wish you and those you share it with the merriest and heart-warmingest of times!
