Tarot, tell me what you knowWill my fortune always grow? Will I find a Latin lover? Not the Joker, please some other! How about the tropic trip? What about my stiffened hip?Spirit voices, you're so muffled . . .Must be just the way I shuffled.May your readings be a prediction of bounty - Oh damn! That sank too.
DCW,I see you embarking on a life of rhyme...
Funny, when this happens the same answers keep coming up!Ruby
Ruby,The longer one lives, the more one feels "been there, done that."
Love this as always.....I especially love her chair.
Danielle,Madame Roue and her chair were made for each other!
A "one armed" chair -- how unique and so easy to get in and out of. If the cards keep coming up with the same prediction, go with it lady.
Shirl,No escaping one's fate? I used to have a one-armed chair that was given to us by our Montreal landlord. It followed us to a lot of places but I'm not sure it ever made it to Vancouver. I "eternalized" it in my chair series (go check the miniatures on your wall and see if you can find it).
This is such an excellent drawing! I love the perspective, the angle from above looking downward, the space and 3-dimensionality, the detail, and the lively lines and colors. Really exceptional.
Stickup,Madame Roue is one of my favourite cartoons ever! I love the character and how her environment envelops and defines her. These things surprise me, how they turn from scribbles into "people" with their own stories. I'm so pleased you share my delight in how this particular little cartoon turned out.
