A New Look

Instead of coming up with a new piece of art work this week (still working on the commission piece after a long weekend of much Thanksgiving celebrations) I found myself fiddling with the look of Ragzedge.

For the background of the blog banner I used a painting that is no longer in existence, other than as a digital image.  This was one of those very spontaneous slatherings-on of paint which ended up being completely washed off--yes under the tap!  Now I look at it I wonder why I was so hasty.  Anyway, I think it brightens up the place.

What do you think about the new look?

Thanks! That's a much more positive reaction than the famous Bette Davis one of "What a dump!" Not that she ever sashayed her way into my blog.

  8. DCW,
The extent of your knowledge of obscure facts continues to astound me. A modern heather hybrid? Wasn't the good old fashioned heather good enough? Or were the horticulturists trying for a heather with better gas mileage? As Joni put it, "You don't know what you've got till it's gone." Thank goodness we have digital cameras to capture the good, the bad, and the ungness.
