Maxim of the Week

Being a hostess at a sushi restaurant was proving to be a lot more taxing than Akiko had anticipated.
Maxim:
The customer is always right.

  1. I don't think Akiko is long for a service sector job. I think she will join a workshop and find her calling as some kind of artist, maybe a lead singer for an all-girl band, and tour the world...

  2. Stickup Artist,
That is such a great take on the true nature and calling of Akiko. Didn't I see her over at the car show on Route 66 the other night?

  3. Like when a customer says,
"Hey, take this back and cook it".

  4. Shirl,
Cook the sushi! Yes, I can just imagine He Who Shall Not Be Named making such a comment to poor Akiko.

"ablee" haha! Yup, old HWSNBN would certainly have ablee in his blonnet if he dined at a sushi restaurant.

  5. You don't want to mess with a server who's bringing you raw food, I know that much.

  6. tattytiara,
For one thing, what was that you were just saying over on your blog about being sure to wash one's hands well? Certainly before and after handling raw fish. You're right, not a good idea to tick off our Akiko if she's our server for tonight.
