I finished sewing together another fabric/photo transfer collage in my Textures of Calabria series. This time I took the plunge and glued the finished piece onto a stretched canvas. It looks rather busy and bright right now but the plan is to add paint and texture and integrate the elements. I've decided to go with my painterly inclinations rather than create the series as straight-up fabric art. I have no idea how it will all turn out.
